So I was lucky enough to go to the Supernatural HUB All Hell Breaks Loose Convention this past weekend to see Jared Padalecki, Jensen Ackles and Misha Collins at UNSW. I was only going for Saturday but it was great to hear the boys in the panel chatting about the show and nonsense as well!



Misha was really funny and answered (and deflected) questions like a pro, Jared was full of energy, very animated and tried unsuccessfully talking while chewing on a Fantale. Jensen was much more reserved (or jet-lagged) but just as entertaining. And regarding that Eye of the Tiger clip, it was completely impromptu. Jared was meant to come into shot (just as we saw it in the episode) but in one of the takes he purposely kept Jensen waiting to see what he would do, and yep we all got to see how awesome Jensen Ackles is!

Barney Stinson/Dean Winchester are my new awesome BFF/OTP/whatever, they're just awesome!

Castle! Anyone else seen this? Nathan Fillion is a crime novelist, helping to solve crime. Okay that sounds kinda lame but it's actually quite good! There's a set tour with Nathan over at ABC.com

BSG! Only 2 more episodes to go! I can't believe it's finally ending! Anyway just some pretty people to stare at for the day (caps from crazyvictoria)

Now, has anyone watched Hustle (UK)??

I'm not sure whether Leverage has been based on/adapted from Hustle but they are very similar. In fact, I'm sure the background music tracks are exactly the same. But unlike the American LOM where the storylines are basically the same, the differences in the storylines and characters are an improvement and the show seems really balanced and easy to watch! I'm really enjoying it! (Not to say that I dont enjoy Hustle, but I really like how they changed it up if in fact they did base it on Hustle!)

I really liked the first episode, how the characters became acquainted and how worked together. And I like how each character has a different purpose on their "missions". Unlike Hustle where is seems like Ash has to "fix" everything, in Leverage the background preparation work seems to be shared around a bit more. Anyway I'm definitely going to catch up on all the episodes!

Is anyone is watching this show? It's sort of hit and miss but I really like the characters, especially Sheldon! I wanted to share with you the funniest part of the Christmas episode which I found on YouTube.

Background: Penny has a gift for Sheldon. He doesn't know what to get her because he wants to make sure that his gift "equals" Penny's gift in value, ( so.... )

Is anyone going to buy the BSG 4.0 DVD?

I like having the whole season in one boxset but the 4.0 DVD looks good with some interesting extras:
* The Music of Battlestar Galactica
* Commentary Tracks (on top of the podcast commentaries)
* The Look of Battlestar Galactica
* Razor Flashback Minisodes (I'm not sure but I thought I saw the Australian version had the whole movie on there as well, but I could be wrong)
* The Journey
* Cylons: The Twelve
* Season 4.5: The Untold Story - Untold

And it's relatively cheap at $30 as I've bought previous whole seasons for $60...

Nothing about SGA but an interesting read about photography. And some very interesting style of photos from this guy!

Kavan started off quite slowly because he mentioned that he got woken up by some kids making noise and couldn't get back to sleep. But he quickly got warmed up and was trying to fit in more funny stories right up until the MC came on stage.

Apparently he swears a lot and was trying to keep it PG for two little kids at the front. The kids had to leave half way and right after they ran out, the swearing started and so did the non-PG stories!
